First day in cairns and not to early a start so a bit of time to look around town. First things first....lunch. Aus is a lot more expensive then I thought so we need to budget. Today was the day we head to the east coast. Our flight wasn't until the afternoon so we had pretty much the morn and some of the afternoon to chill Most of it was spent by the pool :) it was soooo hot though. Today we pretty much had to ourselves but did have a few trips in the morn First was to Stanley chasm. Very rocky n loads of water everywhere. The walk was short but felt like an obstacle course. Not knowing what we were walking to didn't help lol. When we did get to the end it was spectacular. Def worth the battle :) Next stop was simpsons gap. Another amazing place. A really short walk to this sandy paradise. It was so nice n peaceful too. Just like a deserte...

Watarrka national park today. This is where kings canyon is. Apparently the first bit was the hardest and wasn't to bad from there on....which was kinda true. We got to the canyon for 6.30am. I saw the stairs and was like Omg!! They were steep but atleast they were semi proper stairs!! We started climbing and prob got to the top after 15 mins. That was hard work. My legs turned to jelly and thought I was gonna pass out!! We carried in walking through the canyon...

Ok so today was way to early for me. Couldn't face much breakie so early. This sunrise better be worth it!! We got on the bus and all fell asleep again!!
