Today we were awoken by the strangled cat again and went for breakfast at Jomas - I appreciate that cheese and pastrami sandwiches can't necessarily be classed as breakfast but we were both craving real cheese. After this we checked out and walked 15 minutes with our backpacks to the new guesthouse I'd booked - its gorgeous. We have a room opening out into a beautiful sunny courtyard, the room is lovely although we have twin beds, which Robin didn't understand why I didn't complain about - what all you ladies out there will understand is, they have a HAIRDRYER I haven't seen one in weeks I'd stay even if there were no beds!
After watching Eat, Love, Prey in the room we've gone out to do just that, well, the former maybe and are now sitting outside a wine restaurant enjoying two large glasses of red wine and an olive pizza (I fancied one after watching the film).
Robin has just outshine himself - I'm in the middle of writing my blog in the wine bar sitting on a big comfy chez long and I hear a crash, look across the table and Robin is laying in the street having knocked over the huge board outside the restaurant! I'm pissing myself laughing (I know I'm a bad girlfriend) while the Americans sitting opposite us with huge smiles on their face say they want what he's having! What happened is Robin was sitting across the table on a bean bag With a step behind him in to the street, he moved slightly and went flying, beanbag, sign and all! Of course we promptly ordered another glass of wine, maybe it won't hurt so much next time!
Plan for the rest of the day - pedicure, more wine, more food, browse the shops, oh and book bus to Vang Vieng tomorrow (even though I want to stay here forever).
