Hello All
Sorry for the lack of blog, access to the internet was difficult during our last two days in Vegas, we assume because the hotel was so full.... well that and us enjoying ourselves so much!
Our last full day in Vegas so we decided to visit the old town via the Pawn Shop - as seen on TV - and managed to come away without buying anything! Tim bought a Pawn Stars T-shirt but promptly left it in the taxi!
Next to Fremont Street which now has a zip wire where you can 'fly' along the length under the light show. (we didn't do it).
No ritz and glitz down here, we went into a couple of the Hotels, had our photo taken with 1 million dollars and played on an enormous slot machine in the Golden Nugget in exchange for a few drinks and then made our way back to Caesers Palace for a spot of shopping and drinks in Gordon Ramsey's Pub & Grill where we met some fellow Englishmen who were on a round the world trip.
Dinner was at Nobu where we enjoyed the Tasting Menu with guidance from our very attentive Japanese waiter and the company of Lawrence and Marie.
Photo album has been updated with all the pics from the day.
All in all a terrific last day, fun and action packed as usual. Up in the morning, re-pack our huge amount of luggage and off to NYC!

ron sewell Big New Year’s Eve Celebrations tonight Tim and Georgia, I think we may be in the same time zone as you? It’s 12.30 midday as I write this. We’ll take our laptop down the garden so that we can exchange greetings if you are in a position to? We can show you the Bonaire Fireworks spectacular from the bottom of our Garden where we’ll all be standing/sitting. You’ll also be able to see and hear Ted playing his guitar. Have a great evening both, Fondest wishes, Ron and Dawn.
Emily Happy New Year!
M&D Marti & Dad wish you both a happy and preposterous new year. Preposterous? Well, Tony Blair walks free!
