A spur of a moment decision to buy tickets for Chicago. The

Ambassador Theatre is just across the street from our hotel and we thought we might be lucky ....we were! We got fabulous seats 4 rows back from the stage just off centre.

Both of us have seen the play beforehand, as well as the film, but thought 'why not again but on Broadway'. We were not disappointed. It was an intimate theater which meant you felt part of the show. All the performers were terrific, great dancers, adtors and singers. The main characters of Roxy, Verna, Mama, Mr Flynn, Amos were fantastic. Roxy and Verna stole the show with their performance.

It was a great way to end a very full day in NYC. Church, baseball and theater........an excellent cultural mix of faith, sport and the arts!
