Day 4
Woke up on the Teepee. Great sleep and had tea and crepes with pears and banana. Experimented with the head - not all boats are the same and not all boats have holding tanks. I took some ribbing over this new found information. Also wise to lower the seat on the head. I did try and buy some air freshner as a gift later in the day as a peace offering - but couldn't find any.9
Had a nap as Yves took Dom to the airport. It was beautiful with the waves lapping and just a touch of breeze.
Yves, Greg and I walked to St George's - about an hour walk. We checked into the Customs house to sign in and register that we would be leaving by boat. We stopped and had a small bite and a drink. We caught the bus (7.50US for the 3of us) and then back to the boat.
Greg cooked up dinner - stir fry with fish. Quick check of email and a short note sent home. Another great evening of story telling and conversation. Yves has lived a very busy life, both as a cruiser captain and also as successful businessman. He is a very, very wise man and sensibly philosophical. I can't help but listen closely as he shares a story. So nice to talk to each other without tv or other distractions.
Off to bed after doing the dishes.
