Day one in Sydney turned out to be a chilled one, after doing the tourist bit and taking photos of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, we headed to Bondi. The beach was pretty quiet, no silly tourist getting themselves in trouble and having to be rescued by the lifeguards and not a good wave, but its exactually what we expected, bit of a tourist town with a nice beach.
Next day we headed over to Manly early so Tim could do a shore dive and Chops could snorkle straight off the beach. It was really great as we both saw; stingrays, dusky whaler sharks (quite a few), tones of multi coloured fish and Tim saw a Turtle, which was very cool!
Next up was a trip to the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) to watch Sydeny Swans take on Melbourne, Sydney won by over 100 points and it was a really great experience. £25 for a ticket got you the reserves match first then the main match and AFL is a very quick exciting game to watch.
Today was our last day in Sydney and after we packed our bags we headed back to Manly and saw Sydney at night on the ferry back which was really nice, a great end to an amazing trip, but now we have to sleep before our long flight back to London via Kuala Lumpa.
