We arrived in Corrientes at 6.20am, we had been warned that the buses to Buenos Aires only travelled at night so had to expect a 12 hour wait. Our guide book didn't have much to say of this town other than it was expensive and there was nothing to see. While Stevie got harassed by a homeless women I refreshed in the toilet. Karma have it as the homeless lady walked away from her bags a stray dog appeared and stole her biscuits. Brilliant. After trying several bus stands, it appeared that we may have to wait 12 hours for the next bus! Then we tried one more. Bus to Buenos Aires leaving in 6.40 what? In 5 minutes! Result, the buzz of the stations was back. As soon as we arrived we were en route out of there. We grabbed some snacks and jumped on. This bus was really comfy. We got settled and fell asleep.
After watching a few films and the little boy in front of us vomit on someones seat. We arrived in Buenos Aires late that night. Before we headed to the centre we booked our bus tickets to Santiago, Chile with a brief stop over in Mendoza.
We finally arrived at our hostel. Checked in to our own room and headed out for dinner before heading to bed. Even though we had been sleeping most of the day we were shattered. This bus travel really does take it out of you.
