Yesterday I went on this great canoeing trip to the mangroves forest and lagoon caves in Bor Thor. It was beautiful and serene. Our Thai guide was hilarious always making jokes about the other guy guide being a girly boy (the name for Thai transvestives) because of his long hair. The best part was getting to feed the monkeys. The guides attract them with pinapples and watermelon and all of a sudden you are surrounded by them. I have heard monkey stories before, that usually end in a moral of "monkey's are not to be trusted". Plus these monkeys were a bit mangy, and it was a little scary to have them jumping on my kayak and brustling about with there rat like tails. But eventually I relaxed and fed one pinapple which it gladly grabbed with their grubby hands. Well the next thing I know the monkey jumps off my kayak and I see its left me this big "present" so gross, but everyone in the group got a good laugh out of it.. so the moral of this story.. never trust a monkey.. seriously.
