Monday 1st - braved the campus canteen for pre-lesson brekkie at 7am...had a danish and what looked like a hash brown. it wasnt. more like a cold, greasy leftover seafood mash covered in breadcrumbs. sticking to bananas from now on! courseworked all day after lesson then treated myself to a pitch black but still boiling kickabout with karho and tony.

Tues 2 - searched for a clothes market but failed miserably..ended up in some random restaurant where the waiter stood next to the table the whole time on his i-phone blatantly hitting up freetranslation.com to communicate with us. personal fave: "we welcome foreigners heartily"....another late night kickabout occurred but this time against some crazy russians. dying of heat exhaustion was an option apparently.

Wed 3 - Had a lesson in a lecture theatre whilst being watched by probably at least 100 teachers from the confucius institute! our teacher was sweating. found the yaxiu market at the 2nd time of asking, got some nikes and a china b-ball top for cheaps! found the sanlitun area which is the flashest place with the biggest apple store in the world etcetc...ac milan team was in the adidas shop so got my paparazzi on and snapped some of them whilst getting crushed by manic chinese cats crying their eyes out. swung by the beijing 2008 olympic park on the way home...massive. louie had a pic with some disney character who then asked for cash through his mask...had to recruit a local to save our skin from some wierd disney extortion. kfc for dinner. normal.
