Bolivia part one
We got out of Sao Paulo as quickly as we could. And arrived into La Paz ready to carry on with the 'travelling' part of our trip. We got to la Paz late Monday evening and were met with some weird sights, firstly the women all wore traditional clothes. A puffy multi coloured skirt, a shawl come knapsack, and a bowler hat…

William Stroud
"Hello Martyn I woke up in the night and I was crying because I miss you and I want you to come to my house and playfireman sam and ben 10. I love you"
Hi both, William wanted to message to tell you the above - hope it doesnt make you sad! he is really looking forward to you coming home and sharing your experiences and looking at the photographs. I didnt think it would affect him too much you being away with you living so far away anyway but it really has made him think a lot about time and distance - which is a good thing because hes learning. And what a story to tell him when you get back! Me and Andrew have been showing him the photos online as much as we can (when we have a minute!) Oh and not forgetting the others - George is saying a few words and is very loud and hannah is 4 months now and just an angel. Anyway enjoy as I know you will and come back in one piece!
Lots of love from The Stroud Five.
Andrew
Sorry to hear that you have lost the Ring. I won't ever mention that you lost my camera all them years ago, AGAIN.
A tip, if you get a replacement ring. Twirl it on your finger so you know it is there, and if you need to put it in your pocket, put it in that small on or one with a ZIP.
Finally, DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Pat and Tony
Wow, fabulous photographs Martyn. We love the blog and these photos really complement the story. The Glacier and Icebergs look amazing as do the views of lakes and mountains.
You both look so healthy despite the copious amounts of alcohol you say you imbibe at each stop! Lisa is always smiling so you must be doing something right Martyn?
Stay happy and have fun, love Pat and Tony x x
