Hullo from Siem Reap!

I'm a bit behind with my blogging, so I hope regular readers will forgive the tardiness - reasons are twofold:

1) I've been having so much fun that I haven't had time

2) The internet connection has been rubbish and I haven't got endless patience

So, better late than never I'll get cracking on an update, but for now I'm in Siem Reap and its gorgeous. Have spent today exploring the town, which is French colonial in style and the place for foodies - there is cuisine from around the globe, in restaurants that open out onto the street - its very pretty.

I finally got around to buying a fake wedding ring to deter the crazy people who keep proposing, should work a treat in South America. Feels a bit odd wearing a ring on that finger! I got a nice turquoise one as well to keep it company... more haggling practice! Headed to Battambang tomorrow morning on the 7am boat - will be coming back to Siem Reap so decided to leave Angkor for last.
