Did some serious shopping today. Took a taxi ride in the mad china traffic. Spent the day buying bags and jewelry for great priced. Now have to figure out how t.o get them home with AII the stuff we pick up along the way in Vietnam and Thailand. Got a first glimpse of the typical china toilet. Arrived Beijing, China late last night, Thursday. Lost Wednesday. Today is Friday. Spent time ordering from a Chinese tailor and visiting a Chinese flea market, very aggressive vendors almost non speak English. Rude and biased couldn't get a cab after several attempts.hotel room is very high tech, with automatic curtains, heated toilet/bidet, soaker tub and shower, great colors.
