Sandra and Glo beside a huge tree that had fallen. Another tree was growing like a parasite from it. Isn't the root system interesting.

The hike to Scooner's Cove led us through an amazing rain forest with old growth trees. The walk was great despite the 100s of stairs along the boardwalk.

Back to Goats on the Roof - had dinner at Cuckoos (strange name for an Italian restaurant). Food was fantastic and reasonable - very large portions. I recommend the peanut butter stack for desert.

Since we couldn't afford to stay @ the Wickanninsh Inn, we thought we would go for appetizers (or poo poos according to my west coast sisters). I do understand why $500/night (cheapest room!) works as it's all about location, location, location! Storm season must be frightening yet awe inspiring!

Looks idyllic and it was - that is after we braved the disgusting life jackets and the almost capsizing incidents during embarkation. The view was amazing - just like Georgian Bay + some very beautiful mountains.
