The peak was on the agenda for 2day - which is on Hong Kong island. Basically its an unbelievablly steep hill, which you can get a tram up, and there are amazing views when you get to the top.
There was a long queue for the tram, defenitly worth the wait tho, cause its a 60 min walk up. We also paid for a ticket to get up to the sky tower, where there is meant to be a 360 degree view, its not entirely that but the view is still good.
at the top there is a shrimp restuarant, bubba Gump, which we obviously just had to go into. there was loads of Forest Gump themed things there, it was expensive - however really worth it.
Once of the peak, which was many hours later we headed to the Man Mo temple, which turns out to be a building site, oops then of to the Golden bauhinia Spaure which is where the reunification monument is located. We waited there until it got dark, and made our way back over to Kowloon, where the hostel is.
We went to watch the symphony of lights which is down at the waterfront, all the guide books say this is a "must see" although none of us were impressed. From our view point tho I got to see the avenue of stars, where I saw jackie Chang's and bruce lee's stars and hand prints.
since happy hour was on, we went for bogof cocktails, ordered as many as possible before the offer finished then off to bed - early start 2mo as we are going to macau
