Well we made it...
Second flight went pretty well with Mitch doing 2 x 3hr sleeping stints (as you can see, he was well set up in his bassinet there). Discovered a new tooth too, which must have come through on the first flight...
Were delighted to see Laws and Sam waiting for us as we cleared customs (although Mitch didn't get us a quick pass through this time, can you believe we had to wait in line - that's what happens when you fly in on the last day of the school holidays...)
So 53 hours after leaving Bernie's place we walked through the front door of 93 Malvern Street!
We have had the most amazing 5 weeks. It has been an absolute delight to spend this time together as a familly. Mitch has constantly surprised us with how well he could adapt to everything we have done, and we were grateful that we were able to sit there on every plane ride and smugly think "thank goodness he isn't like that kid!"
Thank you Mitch for so many funny memories (although we are definitely worried now how we entertain you from here on in, I know Panania is good, but it's not that good!). It's a shame you won't remember everything you have done but hopefully I've taken enough photos to remind you at your 21st!
And a big thumbs up to Ganey too. For 2 people who've hardly lived together for the last 2 years, we did amazingly well. Apparently I have blogged many times about impending divorces but much to Chris' relief, I think he's now worked out that it was just my stupid wit (quote of the trip - "norm, you're much funnier in writing than in real life" - cheers Ganey!)
Finally a big thank you to Bernie, the Noutches, the Moores, the Coles, the Allsopps and the Mackies for giving us the best holiday of our lives.
And so, as I wrap up my final blog (which I will actually miss doing each day), I just wanted to say that we have seen so many amazing places and had so many experiences, but there really is no place like home (and sun!)...

P.S. Tarbert!
