So this is a brief overview of what we have been up to in New York City baby!!! flight was ok, went quite quick!! got to the airport and Lianna struggled with her back pack lol!! got straight in a yellow cab and came straight to our hostel. We are on the FIFTH floor!!!!!!!! not good with ya backpack!!!! our room is very small and basic, it has two bunk beds and a sink but its clean and comfy so its fine, im sure we will come across worse!! we went out for a bite to eat to a greek/italian restaurant just down the street, still on not quite believing that we are actually in New York!!! we all got free water with our meals which shocked us!!! we then came straight back to our hostel and went to sleep.

Sept 11th - got up early and headed for the subway, on the way Lianna got attacked by a blind man!!! He walked into her and continued hitting her with a stick!!!! very funny!! The subways are very confusing but we are now pros at it!! we went to ground zero and there was lots of people and lots of memorials and tributes, we stood listening to people reading out the names of all the people that were killed and it was very sad!!! We then headed to times square!! wow full of big bill boards big screens and names in lights the Subway and Mcdonalds even has its name in lights!!! very cool to see for the first time. We came across the M&M store which was sooo big and sooo cool, this is where Liam purchased his first ever pair of flip flops!! well done Liam!!! hee hee!!! we then went to the Rockefeller centre to go to the top of the rock!!! wwwoooowwww!!! amazing!!!! the sights of the city was just breathtaking!!! Next stop was Grand Central station which was very cool to see as its been in many films, and then we went to New york public library which was good to see but quite boring!! We came back to our hostel and freshened up and headed out for something to eat, we wanted something cheap so headed across the street to cheesy Pizza!! food was ok!! we drank Pineapple Fanta Kim tried some and said 'mmmm it tastes like pineapple bicardi breezer without the breeze'!! hahahaha think she meant woithout the Bicardi!! Lianna then thought she was being helpful and took the tray of rubbish up to the counter to give to the man and everyone started laughing as your meant to put the rubbish in the bin yourself!! nice one!! ha ha!!! another early night.

Sept 12th - up early again and we headed down to Central Park, on the way we stopped off at the Natural History Museum which was cool, dinosaur skeletons etc, we got bored so left and headed down into the park. Central park is amazing, its soooooo big but so lovely, we walked around for ages, we stopped for a bit a ice lolly where we had snow cones and popsicles!! We then decided in the evening we would have a boys night out and a girls night out!! Boys went to Chinatown and found the nicest chinese restaurant and had the most amazing chicken curry ever was sooo nice ... haha!! Then went on to this Chinese bar called Winnies which was quite dead when they were there ... got served beers which was a bonus and by about half 9, ten ish it was packed and Liam went up and did karaoke which was hilarous! Then Liam and Lewis met these American from the City called Pronk, Arthur and Beth got the felling that Arthut was Pronk's b**** ... haha! Then when Pronk introduced himself to Liam he held it in and then went outside for a fag and cracked up and left Lewis there to smile and take it in. Then Liam saw a naked guy outside doing King Fu as you do!! Girls went to Hard Rock Cafe and spent an hour walking in the rain not finding any bars so came home in a mood!!! hee hee!

Sept 13th - Had a lay in, got up and went to see the Satue of Liberty, when we got our tickets we realised that the queue was maaahoosive!!! so we decided to come back the next day. Instead we went and sat in Central Park again and chilled out!! We then came back and chilled at hostel and watched a film, we went to get a coffee out the machine and Liam said 'do you get a cup with that;!! no liam you use your hand!!!! In the evening we down town and went up the Empire State building and saw the city lit up at night, again so amazing to see!!!

Sept 14th - Today we went to the statue of liberty, very hot today!!! so was nice to be on a Ferry in the nice weather, we sat for a bit after and all had a beer in the sun which was really nice!! although we all got a bit hot and bothered afterwards walking round town, Lianna and Liam left Kim and Lewis shopping. we have done so much walking since we have been here we have all got defined muscles on our legs!!!
