Hi everyone!! We have arrived safe and sound in Santiago, Chile. Our flight was delayed by an hour or so from Sydney, but we still managed to get here an hour early thanks to 'good tail winds'according to the captain. We've just checked into our hostel in 'Providencia'- a bohemian little suburb just out of Santiago. We feel pretty good considering it was a 15 hour dlight and it's the equivalent of 5.30am in Sydney, but here the sun is shining and it's 1.30 on the afternoon! Santiago looks alot like Sydney actually.... We've already met a couple of Aussies - there's a few staying at the hostel so it's just like being at home, but everyone is wearing cargo pants and carrying backpacks!! Anyway take care ' we better go and get some lunch!
