Day 13 - by Brett
Up early to play the real life game of Tetris that is packing the car. Rebooted (get it) twice and finally got things to fit nicely. We headed off around 8:30am and headed south. Everybody on the entire earth will be relieved to know that Laura finally got a decent coffee from a McCafe. Praise The Lord! What did I get from Maccas I hear you ask. I got some wrap thing that proceeded to leak all over my shorts, and the result looked like I was very excited that Laura finally got her decent coffee. Great start. Quickly discovered that Logan has a bladder the size of a walnut. Got that from his mother. We called in to Sandy Beach for another Nintendo Wii stop. The beach wasn't that sandy though. Lovely place, thinking of moving there. From here we went to Coffs Harbour for lunch. James thought it was funny as he was coughing as we entered the town. We stopped at the Big Banana on the way in. You can insert your own joke about that one. Had lunch on the beach esplanade, Laura nearly got attacked by a bird on our table. It was a beautiful place to stop. Thinking of moving there. After this we headed to Port Macquarie, and arrived around 4pm. We're staying on Flynn Beach and the apartment is lovely, very modern and across the road from the ocean, and has some ocean views between the trees. The king bed is wider than Laura is tall. It has a couple of swimming pools, kids area, natural creek running through the middle with friendly wildlife. We then toured around the Port Macquarie area which took a lot longer than planned. This place is beautiful. Drive past one beach inlet, and then there's another. That's pretty cool, oh wait there's another. Don't like the waves, oh there's a beautiful river to enjoy. Feel like a change of scenery from all that water, there's a rain forest, right next to the ocean. In the background there's a mountain range. This place is just bloody greedy. It has everything. I love it. Thinking of moving here. Seriously.
