Here's the latest; once we're in China, we're now looking at going from Beijing to Tibet on the new Qingzang railway system, and then traveling down through western/south western China into Vietnam etc.. We're also drifting more to the idea of overlanding to Namibia/Botswana/Zambia rather than flying to Kenya/Tanzania as we now know that we'll need to find extra cash for those flights (the circle ticket we are planning to use will not support internal African travel).

Other than that, we're trying to find ways to fund our trip as we go. Most interesting thing we've come across so far is Lonely Planet TV, who are offering $500 for user generated content on their web site. So Jinnie might have to sharpen up her presenting skills
