Away from Enniskillen at 0940 and out of town on the Sligo Road. Just past the apartments where Angela and I stayed in March, we picked up what we've come to call "the Brown Budgie Trail" and headed off towards Belcoo again. Rather than repeating the Florence Court/Marble Arch/Blacklion route again, we took a road directly to Blacklion. It was as straight as a ruler for at least 6 miles!! After coffee at our old haunt, the Customs House Inn, we headed off up hill climbing over two hundred metres in quite a short distance. The views from the top were outstanding and clearly demonstrated the glacial nature of the terrain. The sting in the tail was one of the heaviest and prolonged showers of what has been a pretty good tour for weather. I was forced into my heavy cagoule, as the light Paramo wasn't coping and I was feeling cold. Now at the Yellow Ducati B&B run by Gianni from Genoa & Kitia from Ventimiglia!! We had a lot to catch up on! Only 12 or so miles back into Carrick tomorrow, so we'll probably do the local touristy type thing!
