Boarded the train at 10 am from Penn Station to Boston. We have an afternoon in Boston and a night at the Marriott before our early morning flight back to London tomorrow. We have had a fantastic trip, and seen some wonderful sites and have had lots of fun along the way xxx

Took the subway to Brooklyn then walked to Brooklyn Heights to take in the views of Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge. Walked across the bridge and back over to Manhattan and up into China Town. Headed up to Fifth Avenue for last minute shopping and a meal before heading back to the hotel to sadly pack our cases :(

Took the subway to Battery Park to catch the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Spent some time in the museum and taking in the great views of Manhattan. Visited the 9/11 memorial then headed back to mid town for a meal before going to the top of the Empire State Building to admire the views at night. Feet are aching from all the walking!!!

Great feast again at the free breakfast at the hotel then set off walking downtown. Stopped of at Macy's for Eleanor's shopping. Saw the Flatiron building and enroute to Greenwich Village suddenly noticed Big from Sex and the City casually strolling past! Took in the sites of The Village and Soho, finishing with an evening meal in Little Italy before catching the subway back to the hotel. Another great day in NYC

Woke up in NYC, bring it on!!! Covered big part of mid town, Grand Central Station, shopping on fifth avenue and lunch at The Rockefeller Centre. Strolled down Park Avenue, Madison and Lexington then hired bikes and cycled around Central Park. Took the subway to the Yankee Stadium in the Bronx to watch the Yankees v Texas Rangers. Yankees won 3-0!!! Great day
