The Days Of Our Leaves
And we are fully immersed in the UK! As we have lived here before and visited many other times, England is more of a second home to us, therefore it feels fitting for it to be our first jump-off point.
Many people have asked us about our packing situation for the next 10 months or so of travel, and so this first post will show what that actually looks like.
Anyone who knows us well will recognize that Troy is the one who maximized his organization through researched packing cubes weeks before departure, where Clare decided to secure her rolled up clothes with old hair elastics while panicking 3 hours before the flight.

Andrea L Two questions: How heavy are your packs and do you have to check them. Also, my god, how will Troy survive with only three pairs of shoes???
Troy Berwick Great questions, Andrea! Clare's is 18 lbs and change, and mine is 20.5 lbs. The goal is to not check them - when packed properly they are the right dimensions for carry-on. Actually, one of those pairs is a joint pair of flip flops, so I am only using 2 pairs of shoes. #thestruggleisreal.
Caitlin Wow, love is sharing your flip flops.
Carrie McKay Lol!!!! Troy you crack me up! Love you. Clare, do you toss a coin for the flip flops or take turns???
Clare Hansen Ha ha ha, Carrie and Cait! Funny story about the flip-flops...I didn't bring any because I thought I would buy them in Asia when I needed them, but have used Troy's a few times already. As you can imagine, he LOVES this scenario.
Carrie Yes Clare and I have no doubt that he reminds you of this all the time
