So this morning we woke up in Berlin, packed up and left. First stop was a 100 m section of the Berlin Wall that is intact. Across the street was the Berlin Wall documentation centre. The centre was alright but the aerial view of the wall from the centres roof was quite impressive
From there we drove to sansouci. The palace at Potsdam. It was built by and for Fredrick the great of Prussia. It was beitiful but somewhat small for a palace.
Then we went off to Wittenberg home of Martin Luther. He is the fella that started the Protestant reformation by posting 99 complaints about the Catholic Church on the doors of his church. He was the priest I believe. Anyway I saw the location of the doors. Though apparently the doors have been replaced a few times. We also went to the new church he started preaching at after the trouble started.
Now we are on the autobahn. I drove the first portion. I had the car top out at 200km/hr. Though o was traveling at 150-160 most of the time. Trapper is no driving and she has been going up to 165. Now we are in a traffic jam. Hopefully we will be at the bnb soon.
