So it's Monday here in New Plymouth and we've had a pretty busy day! We went to Mt Egmont for a bit of a walk to Dawson Falls which was really awesome! And the walk through the bush was cool! Today we climbed up yet another mountain called Mt Paratutu, and this time it was a proper rock climb to the summit! It was such a fun rock climb and scramble to the top with a great view of New Plymouth from the top! Then we went to visit my Great Grandfather Billy and Great Grandmother Ruby Bromley's grave. To finish off the day, I washed uncle Kieth's car! Love Sophie x

We arrived in Taupo on Wednesday afternoon after a 2 and a half hour bus journey from Hamilton. We got settled and then walked into town to explore our latest destination! We walked along the lake for a little bit too which was really pretty. On day 2 we went on the Earnest Kemp which is a boat ride around the lake and out to the Maori carvings in the cliff edge. Today we are leaving Hamilton and heading down to Taupo! It's a 2ish hour bus journey! We sure will miss Hamilton though! We've had an absolutely amazing time here with Jo and Dave and we've done SO much and seen some amazing sights! See ya Hamilton! Next stop Taupo!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLAUDIA!!! Today we had a pretty chilled morning for Claudia's birthday, then we went to the cinema and saw Monsters University which was awesome and then we went shopping! Now we are about to go out for dinner to celebrate!
