Teva's Travels
Life tick's on, I have now been in Wellington for close to two months and have little news on what you may already know. No more a man of exotic locations and far-fetched stories, and the dairy entry's have been thin on the ground as a result.
However, after recieving a card from my dear sister this morning, I rememberd that it is still nice to hear from someone, even if it is just to say hi, i'm thinking of you. I guess that fact that I am putting this on a cheesy website for anyone or no-one to read sort of detracts from the personal touch. My apologies. But to those of you who still check up on me from time to time, hello to you all.
Work is going well, my abilities are slightly hindered by the fact that I miss regular nights sleep due to Football, but the final is close so I'll have to find something else to keep me up instead.
Any defects in my job performance are countered by my new assistant, whos abilities witht the customers are equal to those in the kittchen. Yes, Kris is now working in the shop, obviously we wern't seeing enough of each other at home. It's good to have the boy around, although we don't get a day off together, but maybe thats a good thing.
I will be visiting Barney in Taranaki for the last world cup game, and hopefully some surfing and snow-boarding. It sounds like a beautiful area he's in, and judging by the excitment in his voice the surf is pretty good too.
I finally recieved my tax rebate from the UK, the decision to pay off the credit card bill instead of a new wardrobe was not one i took lightly, but I did treat my self to a pair of cool but totally un-practical replay trainers, guess I'm not really a minimalist traveler any more so why not, eh?
Dinner is on the table (actually floor, we are a little short of furnature) so must be off.
My kindest thoughts to all of you, hope you are all well.
Teva
