Ireland was lovely.......I didn't stay in the main cities which I am really happy about...after a wicked flight on Air France where I felt spoilt as I had a breakfast on the place ( a luxary after flying budget airlines) I hopped a bus one hour south of Dublin to a beautiful little town called Greystones. Located on the coast, I was so excited to be near the sea....my primary reason to visit my good friend Gwen and her new fiance Phil. The town is so peaceful and full of awesome little places to eat....Gwen works and bakes for a vegetarian and organic cafe called 'The Happy Pear'...why the name? Well the 'pear' as it is a vege store owned by twin brothers and 'happy' coz they are happy hehehe......sssssoooo yyyyuuuummmmyyy trust me even you non vegetarins would be impressed and satisfied, so I am inspired to cook more creativly now hehe ....I can hear my mum saying yeah right hehe.
Nearly had a surf even, yes surf in Ireland hehe but unfortuntly the waves not good enough on the day we went down. But was wonderful to wiggle my toes in sand anyways.
Went to a stand up comdey on Friday night of and mime.....I know it sounds kinda like it could of been kinda lame....but it was hilarious....he did sound effects etc...his set was like an 2 hours and I totally laughed the whole time, I guess the 2 pints of cider in me belly helped too hehe. He even did a sketch with using his fingers as the characters...you know like finger puppets hehe just laughed harder how well it was done and how we totally knew what he was doing.
Anyways, it was awesome to spend time with Gwen and get to know Phil too, so happy for them and stoked they moving back to NZee in Sept.
The thought of coming back to dirty ol' London was downheartening but all goodies. When got back to London couple of the main underground lines were closed so was a mission to find alternative routes....lucky Im awesome with directions and navigating
