HELLOOOO!!

Well we've been in Brisbane for a couple of days now and still enjoying ourselves alot! We went to the Koala sanctuary yesterday which was amazing, we held them and had a cuddle and a pat! They were very very cute and fluffy! Again we went a bit over the top with the photographs, especially of feeding the kangaroos!

We had a very traumatic first night here when we realised that our room was infested with baby cockroaches, one of which crawled across Tessa's head in the middle of the night! So we had to complain and ask to move into a differernt room which we did! We did get a free jug of beer for our problems, so as you can imagine we were VERY happy and thought it was actually worth it in the end!

We met some People from the US Military which was interesting as thier attitudes to war and fighting it quite different to ours! We asked them how much the backpacks weigh, and found they carry 80kg's in the back pack and 12kgs in weapons! We shall never complain about our 12kg back packs again! sigh!

We are going to try and download some more pictures of Byron Bay and Brisbane but it may not happen as it takes so long to do it on theses computers that we just end up wasting money!
