It's only three weeks left until I move to Tokyo where I'll probably be staying for 1-2 years and I can't wait! It will be my third time in Japan, so at least I'll know my way around. However it's the first time I'm gonna stay for such a long period, it's no longer just for visiting a friend, it's living there for real.
I'm gonna start studying Japanese at a language school called Yoshida institute of Japanese language this April. The school is located in Takadanobaba, just next to the big Waseda university. Everything is ready except for my student visa which is on it's way to Sweden and I hope I'll receive it soon, it's three weeks left but I can't help but to stress over it.
But maybe I should give a short introduction of myself, my name is Therese and I live in Sweden. Japan has been my big passion for ten years now, so it was really just about a question of time before I could do this, and I've never been happier. I study Japanese social studies at my university so obviously I'm really interested in Japanese culture, but I also have a huge passion for Japanese music, especially a sub music culture called visual kei, so going to concerts is something I do quite regularly when I'm in Japan.
I hope I can keep you readers updated with fun and useful information during my stay, so stay tuned!
