I'm so sorry I haven't been updating my blog in such a long time, but school and life in general has been taking up way too much time and blog writing has been the last thing on my mind to be honest, but now comes a long update!

The last time I wrote it was just before Golden Week which is a week with lots of holidays which= no school for a week! So me and my boyfriend took a last minute trip to Kyoto. I had found a really cheap place to stay and we took the nightbus instead of Shinkansen so it didn't get THAT expensive, but as you know traveling is never good for your wallet... Anyhow it was a really fun trip and we bought these bus cards that gives you unlimited travels for a day which really came in handy since you go to most tourist places by bus in Kyoto (so if you go to Kyoto I really recomend you buy it). And wow I have never seen so many temples/shrines, I really felt like a true tourist, and I have never eaten so much delicios food and matcha in my life.
The last day we went to Osaka for the day and went to Osaka castle and Namba, and we ended the day with the BIG ferris wheel at Osaka station, it was really romantic haha.
After that I have also spent a day in Yokohama, which was very fun. Went to china town and the harbor (where they had a big music festival). Also some of the night views in Yokohama are really beautiful.

When it comes to school it has been nothing but hard studies everyday, the pace is really insane but at the same time you learn a lot! But the big finals are coming up real soon and I'm so nervous, I've passed all my tests so far so of course I hope I will pass the final ones as well, but you never know. I'm also gonna apply for a working permit soon, having a part time job would be really nice because you spend so much money when you live in Tokyo, most things are really expensive unfortunately. The food an alcohol is an exception though, it's actuallly cheaper for me to eat out than to cook my own food haha.
Izakyas sure are the best invention ever, so cheap food and drinks for only 270yen each!

Well I have another test on monday so I better go study for that, hopefully it won't take this long before I update again...
