Going to give you the heads up right now. Today is going to be exciting. Like so much excitement.
So we started quite early, leaving the hotel at 7am and getting down to the harbour to take the ferry over to Hong Kong Central which is where all the bright lights are! It was so surreal walking around the buildings know the significance of them and we got to the tram that would take us up to the highest point in Hong Kong - Victoria Peak. It was very strange seeing so much green and sea around the city as you just don't imagine that when you think off Hong Kong.
After taking in the views, taking more pictures than necessary we went off for the big fun part of the day!! We were off to Ocean Park! Okay, so imagine a zoo, crossed with an aquarium mixed in was a little bit of Thorpe Park and you had Ocean Park!! So we had the aquarium, that was fun, saw some walrus'. They are very ugly. We saw penguins and seals and all the pretty fish then.. probably the highlight had to be seeing the famous pandas! It was one of those moments that until you've done it and then look back at what you have done do you then realise how cool it really was!! we got a cable car to the other side of the park, not even exaggerating, we were on this thing almost 10 minutes! This place was huge! We did all the rides because we reverted back to teenagers for the day and even braved the water ones because we knew we would dry in like 5 minutes!
So we did absolutely everything we could in this park so we decided to call it a day and head back. As our legs had got to the point they could potentially fall off we hunted down the station and got the metro, by ourselves, didn't get lost, and got back just in time for sweet and sour chicken and some lush noodles!
As it's our last night in Hong Kong we took a final stroll around the markets and it appears that Friday night is the night the massage parlours come to life. There were prostitutes everywhere. Weirdest thing ever. Needless to say, we didn't hang about! We all went back to the hotel and got the earliest night we had had in three weeks! Tomorrow, well tomorrow is Thailand baby!!!
