It's occurred to me that things are done differently in china.
Take the photo accompanying this blog entry for example. Why is this beside my bed in a hotel? Where is my bible? I don't know how reassuring having a fire mask is in all honesty. Is there a history of night time fires? I want a bible. Get me a bible.
The have zebra crossings and just don't use them. It's like they have thought, we are going to paint the stripes on the road and you can all congregate on the lines and try and cross the road in a large group as that's probably safer. It's like the worst game of frogger ever.
I've noticed that the moon in China is definitely bigger than it was back in the UK. Am I closer to it in China? As soon as I can get Internet, I'm going to google this and i will get back to you all as I know you will want to know the answer now I've brought it to your attention..
I have also noticed how different China really is to everyone's perception of it, well mine for sure. When I think of China, I think bright lights, big cities and so many people, completely first world status. In reality though, China is so many more things than just the city. Having gone more south in the last 2/3 days I've never seen so much green and obviously sailing along this river and through the three gorges, this country can be pretty in so many other ways than just it's city status. However there is still an insane amounts of people. They. Are. Everywhere.
Now enough of me being David Attenborough, back to tanning and dreaming of Tom Hardy waiting for me on Bondi Beach..
