I woke up early and got a really nice fruit platter from the cafe in the casino, all sort of fresh fruit (if I was rich I'd have it all the time!) and then I went to go laze by the pool, so I went down there but as there are so many bloody buildings around there wasn't really a lot of morning sun! So instead Megan and I went shopping! We stayed close to out hotel so when Elise woke up it would be easier to catch up with her. Planet Hollywood had more of the shopping in Megan and I's price range (and it's one of the places in Vegas where the roof looks like the sky), now I'm pretty sure I have every piece of clothing from H&M but I keep on going back for more!
We wondered around a little bit more and then the hunger really kicked in, we gave Elise a call and she mentioned this sandwich place, as it turned out we were standing right in front of it when we called her. The name is Earl of Sandwich and they were beautiful!! I had a tuna salad wrap and honestly I'd go back to Vegas just for that alone!
After lunch I thought it would be best to buy myself another suitcase and I am glad I did, 50 bucks from some souvenir shop and so far it's doing pretty well! Then we booked our tickets for Cirque de Soile Mystere, the show was that night at Treasure Island so Elise and I headed down that way to pick the tickets up and Megan dropped our shopping off and baked in the sun. Once Elise and I were back we layed out in the sun, floated in the lagoon pool and had some seriously cheesy nachos (I'm really not a fan of America cheese as all!!), it got to around 6pm so it was time to get ready for another night in Vegas!
Megan and I went to dinner at a place called Kahunaville (which we called Akunamatata) at Treasure Island, the waitress told us to come back after the show which we were a little bit sceptical about but we thought we see what it was like after the show. The Cirque de Soile show was at Treasure Island as well just across from the bar, I wasn't really too sure what to expect from the show as I've heard O is just amazing! But OMG this show, it had everything I wanted to see except for 1 thing, that big mouse wheel thing which I don't remember what it's called. But the whole show was just brilliant! Elise could spend her time in New York watching all of the Broadway shows, I could spend my time in Vegas watching all of the Cirque de Soile shows!! Aftr the show was finished we gave Elise a call and see met us at Kahunaville aka Akunamatata! The bar tenders were awesome, I pretty much said make me something with vodka, not tequila, no cranberry! The drink they made was by far on of the best drinks I've had since Bali! I'm pretty sure it was 7up, orange absolute vodka and a slice of orange on the side, that was now my drink of choice! The way they made them were pretty cool too and I don't think I've been to a club or bar in Melbourne where I've seen them throw the bottles around and catch them balancing on their forearms and just doing crazy stuff like that! We had a top night there, met some people from Sydney if all places and also met some Canadians! Unfortunately Akunamatata shuts at 2, so we went to Caesars Palace to try our luck, I put 2 bucks in a machine and came out with 170, I was pretty happy with that! We got back around 4.30 and went to bed!
