Disney's Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom!
7am wake with Elises annoying phone alarm annnd we're off to Disney's Hollywood Studios!
So Hollywood Studios was amazing!! We started with 'The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror' which is a giant drop type ride - I usually find these kind if rides boring but this time I was mistaken! You go through a old haunted hotel then you jump on an elevator which you think is just going to go up then down, but you travel forwards through a floor and then the ride truly begins!! Flying up and down till the point your butt flys off the seat!! It was so much fun so we decided to do it again later on in the day.
We also went on the 'Rock 'n' Roller Coaster' which we loved!! You start in a recording studio watching Aerosmith record then you end up getting backstage passes to their concert and to get to the concert you go in a superfast roller coaster!! Next up Megan and I went to the Indiana Jones Stunt show whilst Elise was at the Beauty and the Beast show; the stunt show was great, explosions, fires, fights and all sorts of action packed stunts!! After it was back to the roller coaster with chocolate coated strawberries and slurpies! We then went for a walked around the park, taking photos, and having a drink and just as it started to rain it was time to leave and head to Magic Kingdom!
Magic Kingdom is huge and we managed to get through it all, luckily the rain died off and the sun started to shine again!
We started in Tomorrowland with 'Space Mountain' which I thought would be better then what it actually was but still fun; 'Tomorrowland Speedway' where you drive race cars around the track (they don't go any faster then 10kms); and 'Buzz Lightyear's Space Revenge Spin' where you go in a cart and try and shoot things. Then we were off to Frontierland for 'Splash Mountain' (which we were hanging out for all day and was completely worth it!!) and also 'Big Thunder Mountain Railroads' which was a pretty fun roller coaster with a mine theme to it! We also did the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' ride which was a boat ride, the sets were pretty cool but I wouldn't do it again.
The other things we saw was the Haunted Mansion which really wasn't that scary and also the 'Mad Tea Party' with the spinning tea cups!l Elise and I killed the spinning tea cups whilst Megan cleaned out the Disney stores buying presents for the fam.
My favorite parts of today was seeing the Cinderella Castle, Mickeys Musical Stage show with Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Goofy, the 3 main Disney Princesses Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, Robin Hood and Captain Cook and also the Evil Queen (I feel like I've forgotten a character or two?) and the fireworks at the end of the night which really were SPECTACULAR!
I think that's all for today, Orlando has been pretty sweet so far! Tomorrow were heading off to Universal and also the outlet shops to spend some more $$
