Hi guys,
Today we visited the biggest Lama buddhist temple in Beijing. It was very peacefull, not so many tourists rushing about. We even got given a little cd with our ticket - not that we have any idea what's on it!
We spent a good few hours looking at the buddahs and their friends and relations . . . The whole place smelled like an incence shop. There were loads of people burning them as offerings.
After the temple we want back to Tienamen square and walked down the whole length. It seemed appropriate to finish our time in Beijing the same way we started. We followed up our long walk with some dumplongs and dim sum, very nice. (Chris is dying for a potato. . .)
I know we haven't blogged for the last few days but it has been pretty unexciting. We have been sorting visas and sending parcels home, all very neccessary but doesn't produce very good pictures.
Oh well off to the room to pack. Tommorrow were getting on a train and the crazy two day city hopping starts again . . .
Bye bye x Team P
