Day 8
Konichiwa again I'm so excited today was awesome I got to take a guided tour of Mt. Fuji. It was very beautiful and it had such an amazing view. I made sure to take a lot of pictures of the mountain so I can show you guys later. But while we were on the mountain I learned some facts about the mountain like that it is an active strata- volcano. It is one of Japans" Three Holy Mountains" and that the mountain is sometimes called Fuji-San so I guess thank you for the great hike Fuji-San. But while we were there you would not believe what I did I went paragliding of course I had a guide with me—not that I wanted oneI mean come on I could do it by myself—but back to the story I had a great time. So if you ever get a chance to go to Mt. Fuji-San than you definitely should go. Which reminds me about where I went after my hike I made it all the way to Tokyo Tower or 東京タワー.Tokyo Tower is a communications and observations tower in Shiba Park, Minabo, Tokyo, Japan I know way to long someone needs to shorten it. But back to the tower when I was at the 1st observation platform of 2 I could see almost all of Tokyo-well it is 150 meters (492 ft) above ground-plus it was even better that it was night. But what was even better was when I went to the 250 meter (820 ft) special observation deck there I could see al of Japan it was like a sea of lights set off by one wave. Everything was so beautiful it will be a memory that I will never forget. After coming down from the platforms I walked through "Foot Town" which is a 4 story building located at the base of the tower. It is filled with museums, restraunts, and many shops. Overall this was an amazing day to have been in Japan but I am so happy with my hotel. Not as happy as when I was at my other hotels but I needed to go cheap tonight. My room is only $78 a night so that's VERY CHEAP, basically my room is 1 bed, 1 bath, and at least high speed internet. Now I think I'm going to rest my head for the night. Now I can't stop thinking about what exciting adventures are awaiting me tomorrow here in the amazing country of Japan.
