Well I'm now all settled in in Fayetteville, North Carolina. My apartment is now sorted (well I'm not spending any more money on it anyway!) apart from adding a few personal touches like photos in photo frames etc but they will wait till the next pay day.

I've met some great people from all over the world here which has been a great help with settling in. As you may pick up from my blogs and photos I've become great friends with a girl called Nicola (Nik). We actually first hit it off at our interview in London in March but then ended up being placed in the same area, having flights sat together and being put together at orientation and since then we've kind of stuck together. We have a right laugh though and are now next door neighbours which is good fun!
So far school seems ok, it's all going to be very different but that's what I wanted and it will all add to the experience.
It's taken me ages updating this so I'll try hard from now on to keep it up to date. It should be a little easier as things start to calm down here and we get into a routine with work etc.

Belated happy Birthday. hadn't learnt how to use this at that point. You,ve now been gone more than a week - it'll be strange for your mum now that she's back from campinmg - no Jenny, no Paul and Jane for a fortnight!
