Paris take 2: I headed to the international train station in London and hopped on a train to Paris. The train went under the water as well as on land. I had to refresh my memory of the French language before arriving in Paris. Once arriving at the hostel I decided an upgrade to a single bed room would be a perfect idea after staying in share rooms all this time (so glad I changed haha). The first day spent in Paris I decided to do another hop on hop off bus tour because I enjoyed the one in London so much. I first stopped off at the Notre Dame Cathedral. A really amazing building and I even got to here the famous bell chime (no Quozimodo though :p). I then headed to the most high class street in Paris; Champs-Elysees. I did a little bit of shopping before hopping back on the bus and headed to the Eiffel Tower. Once I got there I decided to brave the massive lines and headed to the top of the tower. 3 hours later I made it to the top haha. The views were spectacular and definitely another thing ticked off the bucket list. The next day I had to rearrange my plans slightly due to the celebrations of Bastille day. Many of the sights were closed off and police and military were everywhere as they were setting up for large festivities occurring that night. I luckily got to do the boat cruise I had booked. The boat went from the Eiffel Tower dock and cruised around the Marina. I had French Toast and some macarons at Laduree, the best macaron shop in Paris and headed back to the hostel to get ready for the Moulin Rouge. It has been a dream to go to the Moulin Rouge since I was about 12 so I was obviously very excited to go but had very high expectations. The show absolutely exceeded all off these expectations and blew me away. Such amazing dancers, props, themes and of course the costumes!! Wow! I could definitely watch it another 10 times! Such a perfect way to finish this trip. I packed my bag one last time (thank god haha) and checked out of my hostel. I decided to have a relaxing final day and headed to the Luxumbough gardens. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and such a great place to chill out. Definitely the most underrated attraction in Paris. Heading to the airport tonight for one last long trip home :D.
