Woke up at 6:30 am this morning , ate a quick breakfast and got picked up for my transfer to tortuguero . Travelled for 7 hours via bus , stopped to eat then got to la pavona to catch a boat to tortuguero rana roja lodge . This place is beautiful. It's in the middle of the jungle. What a day , it was awesome from beginning to end . Woke up at 6:30 am and my tour bus picked me up and went to do a safari tour . It was cool . I was with a family and a cool couple . The water was low due to not alot of rain . We saw iguana and a Oreo snake wrapped around a tree branch . Hard tinsee , as well a highlight ingot to see 3 howler monkeys . What a beautiful day so far , slept amazing from eleven Till 8, headed out right away at restaurant. Will mark in , ate for six dollars an American breakfast as they say. Scramble eggs. So this morning was a bit rough , bit hung over and had my transfer at 7:50 to go horseback riding and boat ride to arenal . The horseback was very nice , and the boat was only 20 min but still very cool to see the non active volcano ( been 5 months ) I'm in major pain from rappelling and horseback riding , I'm bruised all on my legs and my upper inner thighs via butt muscles are killing from the saddle, as I trotted along . Today was a much better day than yesterday I must say , woke up at 6:30 am and had a coffee outside . Decided to tackle my book and ended up reading for hour half , went for breakfast at Coffee and garden las orquides cute place and sweet lady who works there , I've been eating my Meals there as it's reasonable and the wifi connection is great , came back to the hostel which is literally down the street , I got picked up at 10:30 to go Rappelling ( canyoning ) ...
