Its funny, I can't seem to remember much from the past two months because it has gone so incredibly fast. My first weekend was spent in the company of elephants, antelope, hyenas and crocodiles on a trek safari in Northern Ghana. The rest of the weekends I spent travelling to waterfalls, beaches, rainforests and towns/cities. Ghana is definately the most colourful country I have been to, not just its lush greenery but the people, too. They are just so friendly and full of hope and dreams (mainly to marry an 'obroni´).
During the week I worked at the Eastern Regional Hospital in Koforidua in various deaprtments. I worked in the wards, consulting rooms and physiotherapy deprtament helping out in any way that I could. The experience I gained in such a short time was unbelievable, it seems as if I have seen everything! Yes it was tough in places but the hospital was an amazing place to spend my weekdays and I am forever grateful to the staff there, who were some of the friendliest and most welcoming people I have ever met.
