Right peeps Tania and Dee are off to put some good back into the world and well yes the first part of the trip were flying into the notorious Guatemala city (dont fear maximum alertness and vigilance in place!) then to Antigua then off to wildlife recue centre to rehabilitate animals that have been sold on the black market and rescued from poachers. Then its upto our little footsteps to take us through Mexico, el salvador, Belize, Honduras,Nicuragua,Costa rica, Panama.
Why u ask?..Beneath the layers of mosquito netting lies cultural immersion, howler monkeys, rides on chicken buses, pristine beaches, active volcanoes, sunbathing, sipping Belikin beers, surfing, diving and ancient mayan ruins. ..
Throw in a pinch each of rastafarians, wave worshiping Gringos, latin lovers, funky hippies and camera toting tourists...and equals the ultimate party recipe, and also a mass meeting place and people watchers paradise for backpackers of every persuation!
