Now made it to our last destination before we fly back to Newcastle for a few days before chapter 3 begins in New Zealand.  Since Hervey Bay we've been on up the coast to Airlie Beach where we did a 3 day sailing trip onboard Condor (a maxi yacht) going round the islands and snorkelling.  The sailing once we got going was brilliant with the boat riding on its side and us clinging to the high side.  We then carried on up the coast and visited towns like Townsville, Magnetic Island, Cairns Highlands including a swim in a freshwater crater lake, and finally we drove all the way up to Cooktown which is the furthest north we can drive in a conventional car.  Loads to say about these places but the photos will speak louder when we get them on.  Now in Cairns for just over a week so loads to do like the Reef, rafting, fishing .......  Will put another postcard from Cairns once we've done all that!!!
