Today I am spending International Women's day in Mangalore. Mangalore is a small, quite old port town with not too much sights to see. (At least according to my guidebook.) However it is real Indian town with only some old colonial buildings in the neighbourhood of old port. A while ago I bought yet another sleeper bus ticket for tomorrow evening to Margao. I had planned to continue to Goa from here by train but I could not find a suitable train. It is also much more difficult to buy train tickets than bus tickets here in India so I took the easyer way.I have spent here quite lot of time watching TV as my room has AC and almost 100 good quality (technically) channels. This morning I even watched most of the 82th Academy Awards live as here it happened in more convenient time than in Finland. (Program started at 6.30 AM local time.)

jukka h Moi, luin juuri kirjan "Valkoinen tiikeri", joka kertooo Intiasta. Kirjan luettuani aloin ajatella, ettet ehkä sittenkään taida haluta pyöräillä Intiassa. Liikenne taitaa monin paikoin olla melko hallitsematonta, arvaamatonta?
