Today I went to see Embalse Arenal, the biggest lake in Costa Rica. While we were there we went to a souvenir shop and I bought a butterfly to put on my seiling. After that I went to Rincon de la Vieja volcano! I saw bubbling mud! There were trees that were over 1000 years old. There is a legend a wich that was banished by a church. They say that sometimes you can hear or see her laugh.

Today, I went to a restaurant that had a whole bunch of iguanas outside. I went on a boat ride down the Rio Frio all the way to Nicaragua. I saw lots of monkeys, different kinds of birds, and a sloth and it's baby. I went to a coffee shop and we learned how smaller beans are better beans for coffee. Coffee is only black when additives are added. I am loving Costa Rica!

Today I went to zip lines and saw a sloth. I saw a monkey too. I also went to a waterfall,it was 500 stairs up and down. I went to the largest hot springs in the planet, at the end of the day! I am having the best time ever!

Today, I went to a rain forest and saw a sloth. I also saw the crater of the volcano Poas! I saw the oldest place in the world that is still making hand painted ox carts. When I went to the second sourvenir shop I bought a stuffed animal sloth and a key chain monkey. We took a very long bus ride to get to our hotel. When we were at dinner we ate fettuccine alfredo. Our hotel has huts that are close to the Arenal Volcano.

Today I came to Costa Rica. I am in the city San Jose. I walked a little after we got to our hotel. I went to the pool and got in the hot tub with my friend Skylar. I am loving Costa Rica. (I ate some awesome ice-cream)
