Just very quickly, I'll give more info' later.

My name is Martin Webster, lapsed cyclist. For many years I've been dreaming (mostly during the day) of doing a solo cycle tour. This year, thanks to the school head, governors, and not forgetting the support of my family, I shall be realising that dream.

The day after school breaks up for the summer holidays, I shall be flying to Basel in Switzerland, from where I will cycle to the Atlantic coast following a marked route known as 'EuroVelo 6'.

If anyone wants to sponsor the journey, all donations will be equally divided between Welton primary school and St Helen's church in the village of Welton.
