Suzanne and Chris - Lands End to John O'Groats
Today was only short but a hard ride with lots of hills. Arrived in Oban at 2 o'clock which was too soon to book into where we are staying so we wandered down to the front to see the boats, the view of the islands and to find somewhere to eat tonight. We have eaten at a place called Coasters and had a traditional Scottish dessert called "crannachan" which is a mixture of oats, honey, cream, whisky and raspberries!!! For all our friends following our blog, we should only have 4 more days of cycling left, if all goes well - about 250 miles. (doesn't sound too far if you say it quickly). Thanks again for the messages and encouragement.
