We went on our first shopping tour on Nathan Road and ended up getting foot massages in a sketchy back alley. We were looking at a closed foot massage shop when asked to come to a different place, up through a dark hallway around corners... but they had free Internet. They did not speak any English at all except pointing at me "mommy?" We got our feet washed in brown tea and massaged ruthlessly.

After that we took the Star Ferry to get across to Hong Kong Island to meet with Daniela and Jessica. The ferry cost HKD 7.50 for the 3 of us (less than $1!).
Daniela, the brave soul, drove us around through the crazy HK traffic. We had a sushi lunch and then headed over to the Ladies Market.
The girls were master negotiators and made quite a few great deals. The hot items were iPhone covers in all colors and shapes (specially the ones with bunny ears!).
We went to dinner with Mia at the Yacht Club in the harbor. Great Indian food and fantastic view!
