The last few days have been crazy especially the last 48 hours before our flight. It was complete mayhem!
We managed to pack Ro's suitcase, re-pack my suitcase (for the 2nd time) pick up wedding outfits and attend Bally's "not so surprise" 1980s themed 30th birthday bash. On the afternoon of our flight (4 hours before departure) we checked in online and just about managed to get the last two seats together.
So the plan was to get to the airport nice and early, wave good bye to our family then toast our holiday with a lovely, bubbly glass of champagne followed by an hour of "window" shopping. Did anything go to plan..?
A glass of champagne was replaced with a sandwich from Pret and window shopping lasted a grand total of 5 minutes!
Oh well.. None of that matters now that I'm in Singapore!! The land of beautiful weather, happy people and most importantly amazing food!
On day one we ate 2 roti prathas, a masala dosa, a stingray, chicken satay, prawn dumplings and hokkien mee (noodles). Yes I ate ALL of that within 10 hours! But I couldn't help it. The food is just too tasty!!
We feel like we're living a dream..
