A bit cloudy this morning as we set out for our appointments for pedicures in a village north of home. On the way we stopped to pick up our laundry and pressing. A very capable French lady named Barbie did my nails and was amused that my name was Ken. On leaving we encountered the first short rainstorm I had seen since my arrival.
Lunchtime again and Marie pulled in at A Floresta where I had baked cod and a tomato-rice preparation, both very good. Another very nice place.
On the way back home we stopped by the Vale do Lobo clubhouse and picked up cases of wine for Marie's party tomorrow. I stopped at the clothing shop and bought a pullover and trousers that I liked.
A quiet evening at home listening to some Christmas CDs.
