Hannah and Liv's Travel Update
We set off early this morning on a 9 hour coach drive across the bumpiest roads, covering 400km to Bhenswara. We sat at the very back of the coach, not the smartest move as you wouldn't believe the condition of the main roads, more like single tracks and everyone overtakes at the speed they decide to go at! We used the time to read our books, and look out as we passed into greener land and vast granite quarries. We arrived at the heritage hotel late afternoon, to a similar village to Chandelaogarh but already more commercialised, so we stayed in the grounds of the hotel and read in the sun while sat on the walls outside our room. Our room was decorated like something from Changing rooms, pink and silver rose prints all over yellow walls, and old creepy photos of Indian men and families, but the shower was boiling hot and turned into a steam room, luxury! We had dots painted on our foreheads as we arrived to make us feel at home, then spent the evening having a nice meal around another campfire.
