Hi, Today my mom, dad and I were going to start off our day with a lesson in Tai Chi on the top deck of the ship. Yesterday it started at 6:45, but today it started at 6:15, so we missed it. We're going to try to make it tomorrow, but I don't know if we will. We are scheduled to go through one of the five locks of the Three Gorges Dam tonight and we want to see that, so we might get to bed late. I'll let you know.
Today, we went through two of the three gorges. The first gorge was the Qutang Gorge. This gorge is five miles long and is known to be the most magnificent. A picture of the Qutang Gorge is on the 10 Yuan note. In the Qutong Gorge, there is a path called the Ancient Trackers Path. This path was carved by hand out of the limestone, and was used to go upstream. It is about 30-40 meters above the river. Next, we saw the Wu Gorge. The Wu Gorge is 27 miles long. It has beautiful mountain peaks. We got some beautiful pictures. I didn't see all of it, because I was playing foosball with a girl named Amy, from Perth, Australia. I learned some things about Australia. That was fun.
After lunch, we got in a ferry boat. On the ferry boat, we saw a coffin on a massive cliff. It is unknown how it got there. It is literally hanging from the cliff. We have a great photo of it. After we got off the ferry boat, we boarded a small boat called a Sanpan The Sanpan boat was rowed by five men. We had 17 people on our boat and they rowed for an hour. They don't have one ounce of body fat, and they didn't even sweat! They wear sandals made out of rope; it's amazing Like my dad said, "That's hardcore." They took us to the Lesser Gorges. We were right near the water in the small boat. The views were amazing. It was super fun. After we got off the Sanpan boat, I negotiated for my mom on a few things she wanted to buy. I think I got her a good deal. My Mandarin is getting better everyday.
Tonight we are going to the Captain's Dinner and then a fashion show. In the morning, we are going to visit the Three Gorges Dam sight. Then, we have to pack and leave the ship by 11:00.
Thanks for reading my blog!

Wanda I think its safe to say Tony, we all want you to take another trip just so we can read your blogs and get a short tutorial on another interesting place! P.S. My acupuncturist just asked me if I would like to join his tour group to China in April. After reading your adventures I sure wish I had the money to go.
Diane Tony, great job on the blog. The cruise sounds amazing. Have fun.
